What is infrared technology? Put simply and using a medical analogy, it's a bit like an MRI for your home. More specifically, HomePro's infrared cameras detect very small differences in temperature. These differences can be seen behind walls, floors, or ceilings, and might indicate issues like the presence of moisture, lack of insulation, air duct leaks, electrical hot spots that may pose a fire danger, improperly functioning fixtures and equipment, or massive pest infestations. With the help of our incredible infrared cameras, we can see many things that simply are not detectable to the naked eye.

There are limitations to infrared, and they cannot completely remove the entire risk of issues in your home, but they do significantly increase our effectiveness as home inspectors. Most inspectors do not include the use of infrared technology in their inspection services. They claim the technology to be cost prohibitive. However, HomePro views this as a poor excuse! Some inspectors even try to discourage the use of infrared, making up every excuse imaginable to explain why they do not offer this very latest in home inspection technology.
